RIVERSIDE BIKEWAY

Lisboa, PORTUGAL.

The project, developed for the Lisbon Harbor Association and for the Lisbon City Hall, is a 7km bike path whose purpose is to define a new urban environment beyond the bikeway, in order to improve the riverside area. Bold white wayfinding words and symbols, which include verses by Fernando Pessoa, are directly painted onto the new bikeway pavement to articulate bike lanes, measure distances, and to provide directions to cyclists.
Designed at P-06 Atelier in parternship with Global - Arquitectura Paisagista.
