SKIN

Environmental design project for a multipurpose room, the foyer of the Knowledge Pavilion, a science museum in Lisbon.
The theme, ASCII (American Standard Code for Information Interchange), is an analogy to the museum intent of sharing information.
The acoustic insulation and the rear rooms windows openings were obtained by creating different pattern densities, with bigger and smaller cuts in the MDF panels.
Designed at P-06 Atelier in partnership with the architect João Luís Carrilho da Graça.
